OUR PARTNER ORGANISATIONS.
The Family Focused Village Development Programme (FFVDP) partner organisations are presented state-wise and in alphabetical order.
The FFVDP programme is being implemented across three states – Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Tamil Nadu, in partnership with local NGOs that already have a presence and a track record of effectively addressing issues of livelihood, advocacy and gender justice.
Andhra Pradesh.
1. Gramavikas Peace Foundation (GPF)
Gramavikas Peace Foundation, a non-profit, secular NGO based near Bapatla in Guntur District. Andhra Pradesh, India, was registered in 1997. It started with environmental, legal and agricultural awareness camps among small and marginal farmers of the Yanandi tribe.
2. JMJ Social Service Society (JMJSSS)
A charitable, non-profit arm run by the sisters of the Jesus MaryJoseph congregation of the Roman Catholic Church, the society operates in three states, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha from its offices in Nallapadu, Guntur.
3. Loyola Integrated Tribal Development Society (LITDS)
Jesuit mission is involved in uplifting the Goti Koya tribal people in one of the remotest parts of the country viz. Bhadrachalam (Telanagana) and Chintur agency area of East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. LITDS is located in Kattukapally hamlet, deep in the forest area.
Tamil Nadu.
1. Association for Women’s Education and Development (AWED)
AWED [Association for Women’s Education and Development] works with vulnerable sections of society, especially women and children in the coastal, rural and tribal villages of Tamil Nadu.
2. Bless
Bless was set up in Cuddalore in 1989 by Mr. LS Anthonysamy, building on his experience with VRO (Village Reconstruction Organisation), founded by Fr. Windey SJ, a Belgian missionary. Bless has been working for over three decades years in the field of rural development.
